Peaks youth hockey 6U AND 8U TEAMS
Ages: 4-8 years old (2017-2020)
6U - Player's birth year is 2019 or 2020
8U - Player's birth year is 2017 or 2018
Players will be divided into teams according to their age group 6U and 8U; if there are enough players to form more than one 6U or 8U team, those teams will be divided by equal skill level. Maximum registration is 75 players.
Registration Requirement: Players should complete Learn to Skate Level 2, and generally should have completed at least one Learn to Play session.
Season: Early October 2024 through early March 2025.
Practices/Games: The 6U and 8U teams will share all practices together; one side of the ice will be for the 8U and the other for the 6U. A jamboree is an event including several cross-ice games for 6U and 8U teams. The ice is usually divided in to 3 cross-ice rinks, with 6U games in the middle section and 8U games on the end sections. Games last between 10-12 minutes, with a total of 3-5 games played for each team.

Step 1: Register your player for their age-appropriate team below:
6U REGISTRATION (player's birth year in 2019 or 2020)
8U REGISTRATION (player's birth year in 2017 or 2018)
Step 2: You will be notified on what team your player will be playing on.
Step 3: Your team coach will contact their players and let them know when their practices and games are. All games and practices will be on the website and emailed out in the weekly newsletter.
Late registration is October 1st.
